Changing our Minds

Saturday 31st January, 2015

The workshop is led by Jennifer French, a psychodynamic psychotherapist, group analyst and Buddhist practitioner of over 25 years.

This workshop will look at some of the recent research around brain and belief, revisiting the nature nurture debate and evidence from cross-cultural studies.  Why do we become dogmatic about our view of the world? Why do we become trapped in perspectives which can be disastrously destructive, to the point of suicide, or even homicide.

To explore these questions we shall dip our toes into the waters of psychological morality, philosophy and spirituality, but don’t let that put you off.  With your help this workshop will focus upon real people with real problems, struggling to find a new way of experiencing their world.
