Reflective Practice Group : 2nd October (Hybrid)

Our Reflective Practice Group is for counsellors and psychotherapists at Marches Counselling Service, to provide a space for reflection and development. We reflect within our working day, every day we work. It is not always possible to step back for our day-to-day work and see our practice as a whole.

This group is a space to reflect on our practice as a whole, all areas of our work, to share ideas and support, and to learn different approaches to our professional framework. We cover topics such as receiving gifts from clients, issues around Christmas time, the impact of SAD, and so much more!

Reflection in a mirror is an exact replica of what is in front of it. Reflection in professional practice, gives back not what is but what might be, an improvement on the original’ – Biggs, 1996 p6

The group is facilitated by Helen Miskin, who can be reached at Marches.counselling@gmail.com or directly at helen.miskin@embodiedunderstanding.com
