We were very proud to be supporting the Baton of Hope in Hereford yesterday.
The Baton of Hope is the UK’s largest suicide prevention initiative to raise awareness around suicide prevention and mental health support. The Baton of Hope was held by 65 volunteers in Hereford, all of whom have been personally affected by suicide. They carried the Baton for an allocated portion of the route as a symbol of support and hope for the future.
It was a privilege to be part of the event with a stall in High Town and have the opportunity to talk to members of the public about our services. We also found out more about other organisations working in Hereford and have some interesting discussions on how to collaborate and work in partnership in some areas going forward.
