Marches Counselling Service is supporting the Baton of Hope in Hereford.

On the day, we will have a stall in one of the marquees in the centre of High Town so it’s never been easier to come and talk to us if you’d like to know more about our services, counselling and psychotherapy.

The Baton of Hope is UK’s largest suicide prevention initiative is coming to Hereford, with a tractor run planned as part of the event.

The Baton of Hope Tour will be in the city on Thursday, October 2, as part of its nationwide mission to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.

A specially designed baton, symbolising the need for open conversations about suicide, will be carried through Hereford by volunteers personally affected by suicide.

The initiative is in conjunction with Talk Community and Herefordshire Council.
